Going into the Light
I hadn’t planned on making an entry at this time, but I wanted to share another bizarre dream. I have no idea where this dream started, but I was above a huge crowd of people. One of my old friends was down below, to my left about a hundred feet away. Nobody else of significance was there or rather I should say no one was recognizable. In front of me I could see brightness on the horizon and dark clouds above. The clouds had a crescent shape and all the people were moving toward the bright area beyond the clouds. Either I was moving toward it or it toward me.
This light was celestial in nature and shone yellow like the sun. It was the end of time or at least the end of time for me and all the people around me. I was dead and, I assume, I was ascending to heaven. Apparently I had just died but I had no recollection of it. No idea how it took place or exactly when it happened.
The next thing that happened I was walking through what appeared to be a trailer loaded with aircraft containers. There were three people there wearing dirty yellow and brown uniforms. They were workers from the major competitor of the company I work for, but the time was years in the past. The best I can figure is that, according to my dream, when you die, time doesn’t continue. You can be anywhere, anytime.
I was in a room that was elevated high above the ground and I believe my wife was with me. She was lying in the bed and I was standing there looking at her. I felt something was terribly wrong, but I have no idea what it was. At some point I was lying down with her but we weren’t talking. This took place on three occasions. There was a small white dog that seemed to belong to us. It was running along the elevated walkway at the front door of our place. I’m not sure if it was our home or an apartment or what since the only thing inside was a bed with white sheets, although it did have two rooms. Anyway, the dog had killed a duck and the feathers were at the bottom outside of the door along with half of the duck’s body. I was now back inside and lying in the bed when I heard God say, “I have a heavy heart.” It was like an internal intercom because I knew the voice was actually in my head and not some booming warning from above. This was troubling and I felt it was due to something that I had done or possibly not done.
I next remember seeing a woman from my office working in a diner. I must have told her about the voice I had heard and she told me it didn’t matter as she handed me a plate of food. She said that you can be sent to any time and it wasn’t something I could change. I didn’t feel better but I understood. I was going to be sent into the future, but I think I woke up before anything else happened.
I hope I get to finish this one sometime.
