The End of the World
I think this is the closest we got to the end of the world today.
Luckily, since it didn't end, we can still enjoy some old videos.

You know, that "end of the world" crapola was a real crock. I thought "what the heck....I won't do the laundry." And wouldn't you know it? The world spins on, albeit slightly off its axis, and I have a pile of dirty towels.

I'd say that was a good gambit. That reminds me of the old commercial where the colonial woman was standing in her living room when she hears Paul Revere ride by. The camera zooms in on her as she laments, "The British are coming and the house is a mess!"
Now if someone could accurately predict when Hell is going to freeze over, just think of the stuff that will get done!
